We are 21st Century Guard Airmen providing Rapid Global Mobility; strengthening the fight!

The 105th Airlift Wing has more than 1,300 assigned personnel in over 90 career fields. The base is assigned C-17 Globemaster III strategic airlifters. We have multiple missions responding to the Nation’s needs both domestically and abroad.

Support National and State objectives by providing the Department of Defense and the State of New York with the highly skilled Airmen and operationally  ready equipment necessary to meet airlift and expeditionary combat support commitments and support civil authorities in domestic operations.

As Citizen Airmen within our community, we are dedicated to being our Nation’s premier militia component, through training, resiliency, developing Airmen, honoring our traditions and providing effective airlift for our Nation and State.
