Stewart Air National Guard Base Newburgh, N.Y.(08 Jan 17)—Airmen from the 105th Airlift Wing gathered to show support for approximately 22 newly appointed non-commissioned officers Jan 07, 2017.

This is the third annual ceremony and the Command Chief of the New York Air National Guard, Chief Master Sgt. Amy R. Giaquinto, was in attendance to give some words of wisdom to new staff sergeants.

The idea for the ceremony came from the 105th Airlift Wing enlisted top three council to formally congratulate the NCOs and shed some words of wisdom.

Master Sgt. Raymond F. Crapo from the 105th Airlift Wing enlisted top three council with some advice for the new  staff sergeants.

Crapo said the best advice he could give is for the new NCOs to “stay excited , stay forward thinking, and stay guard.”
