105th Airlift Wing
The mission of the 105th is to support our nation's objectives by providing the Department of Defense with the highly skilled people and operationally ready equipment necessary to meet our strategic airlift and expeditionary combat support commit-ments. We are leaders within our state and local communities in the use of advanced technologies, in response to our emergen-cies and protecting the environment. The 105th Airlift Wing is dedicated to initiating and sustaining enduring partnerships, which en-hance the quality of life and future potential of the people of our nation, state and communities.

The 105th Maintenance Squadron provides thorough intermediate maintenance using a highly trained and professional force on assigned aircraft in support of worldwide AMC/ANG strategic aircraft taskings. Through the Total Force Concept, this squadron is able to deliver quality service and products to its customers. |

The 105th Operations Group provides trained strategic airlift aircrew, current operations, intelligence, aircrew standardization and evaluation and administrative services. The group has two subordinate units, the 137th Airlift Squadron and the 105th Operations Support Flight. |

Provide organized, well trained, and properly equipped personnel to be seamlessly integrated into the USAF in times of peace and war. In peace-time, we support the flying mission of the 105th Airlift Wing. We support our state through our ability to rapidly respond to any contin-gency by planning and implementing health programs that maximize the ability of the 105th Airlift Wing personnel to deploy and safely meet mission objectives. |

"The Maintenance Operations Flight is organized as a support unit to the Maintenance Group. The functional areas of Plans Scheduling & Documentation, Engine Management, Maintenance Operations Center, and Maintenance Data Systems Analysis are charged with managing the health of the aircraft fleet. Maintenance Training ensures that all personnel are qualified to perform their duties. Program and Resources manages the manning, facilities, support agreements, and deployment functions for the Maintenance Group. The Flight, itself, is managed by a Commander, First Sergeant, and Superintendent." |

AMXS provides aircraft maintenance services in two main areas, sortie generation which provides aircraft management, inspection, repair, servicing and ground handling. We supply highly trained Dedicated Crew Chiefs for maintenance while the aircraft are on missions away from Stewart. Sortie support provides home station and isochronal inspec-tion teams. They also maintain non-powered aerospace ground equip-ment and aircraft installed support equipment. |

The 105th Mission Support Group is dedicated in providing key support to personnel programs, base education, upgrade training, professional military education, and customer service for the 105th Airlift Wing and its tenant units. |

Support the strategic airlift mission of the 105th Airlift Wing and its subordinate units through the proper accountability and timely acqui-sition of Supply, Equipment, Fuels, and Munitions. Provide a full range of vehicle maintenance and operations. Provide for the worldwide deployment of personnel and cargo, movement of freight and transpor-tation of passengers. Capable of supporting the C-17 Globemaster en route and during support base. |

The 105th Operations Support Flight provides worldwide mission planning, design and military Intelligence services. Strategic airlift missions are planned, designed and coordinated for a flying program in excess of 3500 hours annually. Intelligence gathering, analysis and training is provided for 150 aircrew personnel. |

The 137th AIrlift Squadron provides global strategic airlift of cargo and passengers on Air Mobility Command and National Guard Bureau directed training, contingency, exercise and humanitarian relief operations in support of Department of Defense agencies. |
