Dempsey, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, presents his military challenge coins for excellence to Airmen of the New York Air National Guard’s 105th Airlift Wing here Nov. 3 after addressing the Airmen supporting the response to Hurricane Sandy. Members of the Stewart military community supported the 18th Air Force's Lean Forward airlift of utility trucks and crews for Hurricane Sandy relief efforts and deployed Airmen forward in the state’s recovery operations.
