411th Engineer Brigade Deployment Farewell Ceremony hosted by the 105th Airlift Wing

STEWART ANGB NEWBURGH, N.Y. -- Spec 4 Taylor Daniel meets Liberty Bells, Heidi-Marie Ferren, Manna Nichols and Melissa Van Pelt, members of the only official chartered USO show troupe who entertained the soldiers and family members of the U.S. Army Reserves 411th Engineer Brigade at a Deployment Farewell Ceremony hosted by the 105th Airlift Wing April 19, 2012. Task Force Empire will deploy to support the ISAF Joint Command in synchronizing combat and construction engineering effects in order to improve security, development and governance in Afghanistan. Before heading to Afghanistan, the Soldiers will spend approximately three weeks at Ft Bliss, Texas to prepare for their overseas mission. (National Guard Photo by Tech. Sgt.
