105AW Base Defense Squadron Headquarters building officially opened

U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Todd Lobraico, and Airman 1st Clas, James Byrne, the oldest and newest members of the 105th Base Defense Squadron, New York Air National Guard, cut the ribbon to officially open the 105 BDS Headquarters building with the assistance of Col Timothy J. LaBarge, commander of the 105th Airlift Wing, and Wing Command Chief Master Sgt. Joseph Rizzo . The opening was held shortly after the posthumous award of the Bronze Star Medal with Valor to SSgt. Todd "T.J." Lobraico on April 11, 2015. Lobraico Jr., a member of the 105th Airlift Wing, was killed in action in Afghanistan on Sept. 5, 2013, (U.S. Air National Guard photo by SSgt Michael OHalloran/Released)
